Natalia
Zakharova studied for 2 years at the Novosibirsk
State
University
(
Novosibirsk
, Russia) majoring in Ecology. In 2000, she came to the
US. First, Natalia studied English for 3 quarters in the English as a Second
Language Program at the
University
of
Washington
(now called Intensive English Program). In 2002, she received A.A.S. in
chemistry from Bellevue Community
College. Natalia received B.S. in biochemistry with minor in Chemistry from the
University
of
Washington
in 2004 and came to Washington
State
University
for the graduate school. She is studying 3D structure of proteins using
advanced chemical cross-linking and mass spectrometry technology.
