Wuhan University, in China. He
also earned a masters degree in 2002 from Wuhan University. Dr. Zhang then
joined the lab of Dr. David Dearden
in the Chemistry Department
at Brigham Young
University (Provo, UT) where he was awarded a Ph.D. in Physical
Chemistry in December, 2006. Dr. Zhang then joined Jim Bruce's lab at
WSU as a Postdoctoral Researcher. Currently, Dr. Zhang's research
focus is on the development of advanced technology and mass spectrometry
approaches to enable identification of protein interactions in cells.
Dr. Zhang's efforts have demonstrated the identification of interactions
among key components involved in electron transport in biological systems
with relevance to bioremediation, bioenergy and microbial fuel cell
developments.
